Just a simple, unexpected intruder. /open/

Powerful, huge black daggers pierced the earth as a lone even more appealing jet black stallion approached the lair. Standing at a high of sixteen hands he carried his muscular neck in a crest as he cantered threw the land. His mission? Only to find the 'ruler' for he heard she was a mare and for that he wanted to meet this oh so powerful fae. His imense daggers stopped suddenly, ripping up the blades of grey grass. Extending his sterdy neck forward he widened his nostrils as he took in the new unfamiliar scents. Smirking he knew she must be near. His thick ears flickered at every new sound, deciding to make his appearance known to all he raised high up on his back legs. Kicking out at the air with his front daggers as he let out an ear splitting neigh that would send chills up any Darks spine. Comet was here, and when he was there he was to be remembered. Clashing down on all fours he looked around with his chilling black eyes just awaiting her appearance. As he exhaled into the cold night, the steam arose from his nostrils into the mysterious night sky. And so he waited.

I appeared at the foot of Rudya Hill, just outside my lair. Awaken by this call, I was in a foul mood. i spotted the stud, and limped over to him. Black, like her, this stag stood there like he was the King of the World. She snorted. the rain pelted down onto her hide. It didn't phase me, and I stood staring at him.
Who do you think you are just frolicking in to my terra, and awakening me. she spat out, her saliva joining the many raindrops. I pawed the ground, digging up the earth, and mud collected in my dagger, surrounding my frog...

His cold black orbs looked the mare over that had appeared before him. Awake her at this time of night? Why, it was merely just the time that the bright moon began to shine down on there darkened planet. Smirking at her words of venium he parted his own venium kissed lips. "I am Comet, and I came to meet the ruler" He sassed as he looked her up and down, she was quite the little bytch. But, thats what made the mares Dark, right? Oh if she wasn't ruler he would have forcebred her just because of the way she sassed him. But, she was so he shifted his eyes to look at the falling ran smashing into the coble stones near the small flowing water.

I snorted at his abruptness. At his comment 'I wish to meet the ruler' she lifted her lip and let out a roaring neigh that shook the ground beneath them. Her ears lay flat against her skull, and she craned her boa forwards, aiming a bite at his withers.
How dare you. I am the Lady of the Island, and I'm the only one. If you don't think I'm good enough to be a leader go fall down a crevace. she snapped, before turning on her haunches and heading back towards the cavern.

Smirking for he loved the chase, he took off so fast to follow after her his hooves skid against the ground. Coming up beside her he spoke to her as he ran with her into the caverns. "I did not say that, I meant it as the ruler meaning you." He explained truthfuly.

It was with a rather satisfactory sigh that Lazarus made his way towards the two fellow equines, for their bitter arguing seemed like music to his ears. Dark orbs flashed as he recognised the Lady of the Island, though he failed to recognise the black hued male whom she had been yelling at. Oh, what a shame. The mare had turned her back on the opposing stag. Well, I can soon get this argument fired up a bit.. A slight smile was visible on Lazarus' features, although the movement caused him to grimace slightly, for his muzzle was still sore from the wound he had gained only shortly beforehand. Yes, firing up arguments was something that he enjoyed doing. It was like.. a hobby. Yes, that was the word.

"Excuse me, Ma'am, but yer not the only leader in this hellhole. Forgive my intrusion, but I felt that my presence was necessary." He hissed the words savagely, flashing a teasing grin at his equal, though it appeared far more brutish than he had intended. He moved closer to the stranger, examining the black stag with a look of definate curiosity. "Apol'gies, strange brute. I am Lazarus, and hold the title of Lord of this wretched island. I am, luckily, no relation to that mare with whom you just spoke. Or should I say.. argued." He smirked, stretching his neck outwards as if to display his contempt of the situation, before glancing back in the direction of the Lady.

Lazarus stepped lightly from side to side, tail moving gently at his hocks as he did so. "Now, brute. State your name, your purpose for entering, and we might just let you leave this place alive." He blinked once or twice in mock innocence, before standing still and awaiting a reply from either of the equines.

OOC: Sorry it's short - I gotta go -_-

The obsidian femme shook her tiara, before blowing her hot breath onto Lazarus' withers. She then stepped forwards, and glared at the other stag. She then turned back to Lazarus and thrust up her dial in frustration.
You know how you said, you are luckily no relation to I, does that mean you wouldn't like my bloodlines, or you can now possibly be my.......mate.... she hissed. She lowered her dial, and pulled up some of the trampled grass, chewing it whilst thinking.

OOC: I decided to play in third person, playing in first person is annoying.

Turning he saw a third stallion begin to speak to the both of them. His dubbance seemed as he said to be Lazarus, and looked as if he knew the lady. Listening to his words he as he looked him over with his cold black eyes. Seemed to be of no threat and some how he felt as if they'd get along. Though he did not let down his shield, not even for a second. Smirking as he threatened him his mind had changed, once more looking him over sternly to where no horse could read what his thoughts were, but this time he looked him over in a way to compare himself to him if they were to fight. "So, you two are mates. Cute." He said with a sly smirk, he doesn't listen well to threats. But he wasn't a fan of not being remembered so he stated his name, plain and simple. "Comet." He told him keeping his hard gaze inbetween the two in order to watch both of them.

She snorted in anger at the steed's remarks. She snapped at both of them, and limped over to a shaded spot.
We're not mates. I don't have a mate. she nickered, before grazing again, the dewdrops running down the back of her throat. She looked again at the two equines. She wondered if she would ever had a mate. Without them seeing, she disappeared into a thick section of trees, and whinnied lowly for the carnivores that raised her. No-one came for a while, but then a rustling was heard from above. A polecat thudded to the ground. Kaytunga smirked at the mare.
What did you want Huntress. the polecate whispered. He always whispered. She blew into his spotted pelt
I just wanted to know any news. Huntress stated clearly.
Oh. I'm sad to say Ramuyte died last week. Kaytunga croaked. Huntress sighed. The wolf's death came to a shock to her. He had fed her when she was helpless, and to know she would never see him again made her heart ache. Pull yourself together mare she thought. That was what Ramuyte would have told her.
That is all I needed to know thankyou, Kaytunga. Huntress nodded to the polecat before stepping back out into the visible terrain that surrounded her cave.

So, the Queen doesn't have a love. Odd. He thought to himself as she disappeared for a few moments. Turning his midnight black head to face the other stallion for he had not spoken for a while, must be deep in thought. Looking back at the mare as she re appeared he sighed. "So, rather new land, correct?" He asked her for he hadn't seen many others on the way there. Plus he wanted to know everything about it before it came over populated by others. But, he would never ask her that og no. That would ruin the fun of things.

He had stood, waiting in perfect silence, while the two fellow equines had continued their discussion, unsure of where exactly he should intervene once more. So the foolish stranger thought that Huntress was his mate? Nothing could be further from the truth. "Nah, we're not mates. A fact tha' pleases me greatly." He spoke the words softly, though they bore a hidden malice that was sinister to the ear.

Lazarus remained very much neutral to the next few pieces of conversation, for they were of no interest to the brown stallion. But it was the other stallion's question that drew his attention for more pressing matters. New land? How could any land be new? A cloud of confusion briefly clouded his features, before drifting away again just as suddenly. "I don't understand what exactly yeh mean by the phrase 'new land', for all land has been 'ere since the beginnin' of time, ne?" He exhaled deeply, before diving straight back into his reply, even though he knew full well that the question was not aimed at himself. "If yeh mean that we are few in number, then tha' assumption would be correct. However, I too am relatively new to this island, and so I believe tha' Lady Huntress would be able to explain it far better than I."

With that statement all done and completed, Lazarus returned to his silent, thoughful mood, examining the two equines from the corner of his eye, but pretending to be looking at something completely different. Inferior creatures, they were, stooping to the level where they would discuss improtant topics with woodland beasts. It was not something that he would attempt doing, mainly because he had a bad reputation among the lesser animals, but also because he considered it pathetic to have to ask the puny beasts for assistance.

Oh, how eventful this day was proving to be. Not.

ooc: Sorry for not being around.....I'm back now!
She snorted in disbelief. How could a land be 'new' as this stag put forth? She stepped forwards so her eyes were level with this.
It is not new she spat, It has been around for thousands of years, many a horse inhabited this isle before ourselves. Ourselves....They were a new generation, and somehorses were just here to ruin it. She tossed her dial, making her dark mane dance and she limped to behind Lazarus. Her leg was feeling a little better now. She nipped his rump, and strode forwards, beginning to put weight on her damaged limb. Slight raven dapples underneath showed as she shook her pelt clean.
